Down to 17 members, the Philippine team continues to reach the summits of the world's highest mountains. Undergoing a 10-day Technical Mountain Course training in Mt. Cook National Park, New Zealand, the mountain's topography is perfect for 1st time alpine climbers like the Philippine team.

The all-around athletes of the Philippine team were able to impress their expert guides when they reached Mt. Aylmer in record time with the most number of training members. Future plans of the team include attempting a peak in Nepal in the 2nd week of May.
